They are showing the Indy 500 Festival Parade on NBC Sports Network tonight (right now) with classic cars, Indy 500 Pace Cars, and the 2013 Indy 500 Festival Hotwheels Camaros. Hope to see that good looking Laguna Blue C7 Pace Car also.



Just posting in case anyone is up late and may want to see some Corvette and GM pace cars.

IMO, despite all the debate on the C7 design, it's clear that GM put a lot of thought and years into the concept.

These pace car graphics on the other hand, look like an intern was given the job with 5 minutes notice...

I opened this thread thinking these graphics would be mind-blowing to capitalize on the radical new design...

The Indy 500 Pace Car graphics have never been real great IMO.

I don't usually watch the entire race (at least I haven't during the last 10-15 years) but I might pull myself out of bed by 11am to catch the 'pre-game' festivities and hopefully some pace car coverage.
Gotta get to bed now though LOL.

I think the graphics were placed as not to really take away from the lines and over all look of the car. They are subtle compared to some pace cars.
