NRB and Black Wheels - THOUGHTS
So I was going to get AW with black wheels, red calipers, and red interior. I saw the recent pics posted and really don't like the look which sadly surprises me. I'm set on not having a black interior, and equally set on having black wheels. What are your thoughts on NRB with either Khalari or Brownstone 3LT and black wheels?

I've thought about the same combo, NRB, 2LT Kalahari with sport seats, and black wheels. Think it would look great in certain lighting but may look kinda blah in other conditions. Would love to see one.

I have a 13 GS NRB with black wheels. Frankly I am considering a C7 with NRB and red interior but no black wheels. The black wheels are a bear and I repeat bear to clear. I spent big time cleaning them yesterday........ 6 miles to work this morning and they are covered with dust and look like crap.
The NRB is one of the most unusual colors I have ever owned. In the sun it looks different at various angles. With no sun or a little dirt it looks black. When I was shopping and looking at various cars the salesman said hey how about this NRB. I told him its not blue its black and had to really look at it.
My advice if you are thinking NRB really study the color under different conditions.
My attraction to NRB on a C7 would be matching the panels better...... the louvers. There is a lot of black in the C7 with all the louvers. I wanted red but man too much contrast with the black louvers.

My opinion is NO. Not because I don't like black wheels, but because NRB is too dark and it will be like wearing a dark blue sport jacket with a dark blue pants from another suit. It just won't work.

NRB + painted silver wheels (Z51) ftw . . . imo.

I'm a fan of black wheels, as I have them on my IO ZR. However, black only works on a few colors. IMHO black wheels should be used on lighter colors. The darker the vehicle, the more drab the look is with black wheels.
If I was doing NRB, I would choose a machine faced wheel, possibly with a dark accent (depending on the wheel).

Nightrace Blue with Red interior, Red calipers and Machine faced wheels would be sharp!
That's the way I would order one, along with the 7 speed, 2LT pkg., NPP and dealer installed Z51 spoiler.
