Curious on how long the new C7 is out before you start seeing intakes and aftermarket performance parts like exhaust/headers etc? Anyone have any idea?

Think about 3 months... so probably sometime in the mid to late fall... Novemberish maybe. Right in time before the holiday spending season

With C6 I recall Kooks being first with headers in the winter and there were several choices by spring 05. Some intakes were available at SEMA time, lots by spring of 05. The first mod (of the usual suspects) you could do was gearsets which were available immediately. Maybe someone can back me up/correct me on those dates?

Looking at C7 things might be a little different though. I'm not sure how much luck the boys are going to have with the intake? If I had to guess there will be options by SEMA but will it/they do anything besides look pretty? Gearsets are another one, I would do that in a heartbeat but whether Motive or someone else will make the gears is another question. Headers of course will work and work well. My guess is that will be the first decent DIY hp adder available and I'll be surprised if it takes longer to show up than C6 headers did.

New Aftermarket parts will show up immediately.

Good quality aftermarket parts on the other hand will show up in 12-18 months. After the bugs have been worked out.
