GM'er I was checking my order on the GM web site & found that it had changed my order from a automatic to manual. I called GM help desk and was told to call my dealer to make the change. I was also told each time I make a change my order that i was moved to the end of the list. Is this true?

Not certain of the validity of this screen shot, but thought I would share it with this thread as many of us have questions. It would be great to soon find out customer vehicles are actually being produced.
"Just got off the chatline with an awesome GM rep with more info than the typical guy. There was more to this conversation, but I took a screenshot of some of it. The chat was supposedly with a GM Rep.
Cliff notes:
Production will begin around mid-end of August
Plant is currently on a 2 week break. They will be "back at it" on August 1st.
No TPWs have been assigned. Guys claiming they have TPW's for their customers should be questioned with a valid screenshot, I don't think this is accurate information"

All I can say is all the orders we have in the system now SHOULD be built within a month or so of each other. So is the change in trans worth waiting an extra month (possibly) for the car?
