Its about time that GM found a proper and stylish way of attaching a front license plate. Looks good!

It is way better than most any other - just wish we didn't need a front plate in New York - cause it still looks better without it.

The plate assembly looks better for sure but I hesitate to think what it will look like with a plate attached.

I am still running without one and have the ability to attach one quickly if desired...knock on wood

Still waiting to see pics with the Corvette insert removed and a plate in place.

I just can't warm up to the front plate on any Corvette and see no difference between states that have a front plate and those that don't.
Maybe those 2 plate states should make the drivers put plates on the SIDEs OF THE CAR too.

To me, it makes the Corvette look like a cartoon rabbit from the front.

Here are 3 options. I purchased the carbon flash front aero kit from GM accessories, looks much better than the gray plastic that come with the car.
Without:

With the aero kit and the Corvette facia plate:

With the facia plate off, and the license plate attached:

That's not actually the plate bracket. In states the require a front plate, another bracket is provided along with the aero plate. It sits higher on the grill and has a flat profile. Needless to say it's but ugly and will be rare to see on any C7 since the included aero plate works perfectly and looks so much better.

Don't ask for a photo of the other bracket, it will never get near my car.

Besides the benefit of having a rectangular piece of metal attached to the front of your car, you also have the added benefit of restricting more than 1/3 of the airflow...

I'm glad Oklahoma doesn't require a front plate (or inspection stickers for that matter).

Looks fine as is. It would look a bit better painted carbon flash.

I could live with this option
