Hey Pat. Been a long time. Hope the wife and you are well.

I've always been around here. Got into road racing, sold the Camaro, bought the wife a Miata, then picked up an RX7 with an LS1, then a C5, quite a few cars in between.

Decided to get a new C7 and have been trying to figure out what to get.

Here is something you never expected to see me do, in a Mustang no less

This is the first Torch red car I've seen with Kalahari 3LT trim. Does it look OK in person? It looks fine here but I wonder what it looks like in reality.

That was the one that was gone when I got there today. I agree with you it looks like TR but the GM rep said the only one there with Kalahari was a CRM.

Diana and I split up in 2010, but that's ok as I met Lyndsey and we got married last Christmas Eve in Riviera Maya, Mexico Diana wasn't much into cars, but Lyndsey loves Vettes, she always waves at other Vettes when we're out in the C6

What color and options have you been considering? I just traded my C5 for this C6 in April so I'll be hanging onto it for a few years, but my plan is to find a used C7 in 5 or 6 years time once the prices come down to half the price of a new one. I'm going to be looking for one in Laguna Blue with gray interior, Z51 for sure and 7 speed manual. Hopefully a 3LT model too.

Yeah Diana never seemed to be that excited to be at the track.

I have no idea what I'm getting...I went to Bloomington to look and am more confused that before

I hate silver cars and red interiors but the silver/red looks awesome. I thought the Kalahari would look great but do not like the shade, still might do it in 2LT versus 3LT to keep up the contrast.

The Brownstone was my favorite but it adds 4K to the price for a color.

Do not want black...CRM is the wife's favorite but its too old for me.

The green is interesting but dont' want to get a fad color.

I've considered every color combo except black. I do not want a black interior because the two tone interiors look too nice to buy into plain black at a price I could get something nicer.

Put a deposit down and I'll figure it out after I see some cars at the dealer in more color combo's.

The wife loves the colour and said there is lots of headroom (she's 5' 4"). Photo Bucket works great for me
