As a true Chevy Man, I appreciate the fact that I can recognize Chevys for exactly what they are...CHEVYS!!!

Stupid Europeons! Another example of how Big Gov will use any excuse to expand by
continually attacking the average Joe with needless higher costs & less freedom.
That being said, I don't think it really detracts from the car. Of course if every new car is
forced by law to look the same, then that could become a problem very rapidly.....

The FANGS are on there to "scoop up" that dumb @$$ that walks out in front of traffic.
I guess some traffic laws think its better to scoop up the idiot that walks out in front of traffic instead of running over the top of the idiot.
But, the Fangs do look GOOD on the C7... They give it a more aggressive look... I'm glad they are on there.
If they were not on there people would say the front bumper looked like a Camaro, and we don't want to go there.

I don't see it looking like a impala and Malibu at all. Looks more like a C6 with a larger opening and different styled grill. Probably the best looking part of the C7 IMO.

Chevy has a "corporate grill" like most everyone else, even the Camaro has it. Corvette is the only one that's excluded. It does have what seem to be the "corporate tail lights" now though.
Ford probably has the most unique features currently, each one you know is a Euro-esque Ford, but each is different.
Brand loyalty is for the birds btw...

Actually the new Camaro has gone to a "bar" taillight design not really corporate as much now though most chevys sport some type of horizontal bar with a bowtie on it. At BGreen the corp folks said that the C7's design with its creases, angles, did not meld well with the round taillight shape.

I can't agree with comparison since I cannot see zits on my own posterior and would certainly not be looking for zits on any other people's posteriors.
The lower extensions actually look good IMO and I am glad they are on the car.
