Why are dealers so clueless?

I think the bottom line is most dealers don't care if they sell a couple of Corvettes a year. I read somewhere that GM sold 120k pickups in May and June this year alone. That's ten years worth of Corvette sales in two months and that's just pickups. Sales for Corvettes are probably just way to low for most of them to give a crap and they concentrate on their real money makers.

In my opinion Chevrolet should limit the dealers to Corvette certified. I also think there should be an ethical standard. Manufactures can not, by law, dictate pricing. Thus "suggested" retail price. There are other ways to punish excess.

SC, you're very persistent, but why, I don't know or understand. After about the second try, and knowing this site, I would've written the dealer off, fast.
