I always found it odd that magazines etc. felt the C5/C6s were hard to drive at the limit. They're one of the easiest cars to drive fast on track. The problem was always the seats... crappy seats. Put a good racing seat in the cars and the "hard to drive at the limit" issue evaporates.

Well...well...well...For those of you who have fought with me about this, and you know who you are,...I told you so. Read the article (slowly) and learn something. Good night.
Gotta agree with this as the primary appeal of the C7 for me...driving the C6 Z06 fast just isn't fun.

The commented that the car was 69 lbs. heavier than the last GS they tested. Heavier, faster, better handling, much nicer and higher quality interior, much updated in terms of features (infotainment, drive selector, etc.)...just an all around better and more developed car.
I am eagerly waiting for mine.

Fear not. Trendless will still find fault with the seats, or C7 is still not a 911, or it's not yet up to Eurotrash automotive standards.

I can't believe they made those guys sit through a PowerPoint presentation from Tadge before they let them drive. That's like those people who put the treat on the dogs nose and won't let them eat it until after they balance it there for a few minutes.

Because auto journos drive 10 y/o beaters on the rare times they are home and they do not frquent online autobuff boards . They write their articles from the lectures and press kits' bullet points since they know less about the cars they are about to test than even most sales associates . They drive and measure and fly to the next intro, whether a new Ferrari or a Corolla . At the end of the day, its just another " product" to review .
