Default Torch Red with Kalahari Interior?

Does anybody have pictures of the Torch Red C7 with the Kalahari Interior? I must say the Torch looked great in the Car and Driver features. Would love to see it with the Kalahari Interior. Thanks in advance.

I ordered CRT with Kalahari. I'm a little nervous about the combo. Almost went black interior, but hot in Florida.

I'd like to see more of that combo as well.

Red with tan interior has worked for Ferrari for a long time. Would be nice to have a great red/tan combo for Corvette.

I have that combo on order. As additional photos of that mix have come out, as opposed to renderings, I am very happy with the choice. I also live in South Florida, almost in the Keys. I have a black interior on my 2011 Mustang 5.0 after 6 years of tan (Porsche Boxster S followed by Cayman S). The internal temperature on the Mustang gets so hot even with sun shield and putting a towel over the steering wheel/shifter that I can't hold the shifter for more than a second, very hot. But I have always liked tan/ Kalahari interiors. Good luck with your choice.

This is a combo I'm keeping a look out for as the cars get built and we get a chance to see them in the flesh. Part of me thinks a TR and Kalahari combo would look smoking hot. But I need to eyeball the Kalahari. Tough to guage off pics alone.

We are in the same boat. I just do not know exactly what color to expect with the Kalahari. It looks different in every picture. I ordered CRT as well. I have black interior in my 07. It is not a problem in the heat as the Vette has great AC. I have had black interior in a lot of cars. It is time for a change.

For it to work well, it has to be a very light, almost pale camel tone. Here is the Ferrari hue. If it goes much darker it doesn't contrast enough and looks awful.

On order: Torch Red Z51
Default

Like Durnberg said, you should love it. I ordered mine in Torch Red with 3LT in Kalahari (love that full wrap on the dash) and the solid red roof, Z51 with black wheels, red calipers, NPP exhaust, and C/F dash. Geez Louise, can't wait to see it in my driveway .

I don't object to the look of the darker see through C/F roof but it will add lots of heat to the car. Have you ever left a sunroof car closed up on a sunny day with the interior sunshade slid open? No thanks to that type of heat. I may have the body shop paint the carbon black stripe all the way back from the hood vent, over the red roof, and on the painted portion of the back deck and over the spoiler or just to the spoiler. Haven't quite figured that out yet. But that way I can have the sun with the roof off or lots of cool breeze with the roof on.

Hopefully I'll get mine in time to get my personal tag before someone else does. If I'm lucky, it'll read "JIMS C7". If it's too late, I'll just transfer my retired Navy tag from my RX over to it.

Yup. I don't think I'll even form a POV on it until I see it in the flesh.

Nice combo. Really like the body color tops on the TR.

I prefer the red black or red red....combo s but if gm offers the kalahari with red I'm sure its nice. Wouldn't be my choice but I have seen kalahari in person with cyber grey at the ny auto show it looks good.

Ha. That's ironic...this is me and my wife in a rental this past week in Vegas (Red Rocks). Its peaked my interest in how the combo would look like in the C7.

I bet that was a fun time in the F car.

The red and tan look great.

Oh, and btw, so does your better half. Looks like you married well.

I got lucky as well with a guy's gal and 3 great kids.

I've driven thru that area. It's beautiful. It was in a rental, but not like the rental you had.
