Touchscreen Infotainment with 2LT?
I see the 3LT comes with nav, but the 2LT does not. That being the case, does the 2LT still have the touchscreen infotainment system... just without the nav feature?

Yes, the only difference you would see is the absence of the Nav icon on the screen (and of course the underlying features of the navigation system). The MyLink system is still very much there on all trim levels without the navigation.

I wonder how much it will cost if you decide to put it in after the fact.....

Thanks all. Just wanted to make sure.
Good question. What if you want to replace it, looks like it might be a PITA.

I can mount my iPad using one of the holes in the cupholder and a Scosche mount, and have a MUCH better NAV screen (size and detail) than GM's. I can access Google Maps and Google Earth which are continuously updated FOR FREE. I can also take it with me when I travel and use it in a rental car.
I agree, Nav in the car is probably not worth the added expense, unless it is provided in the base pkg.

The nav system is now just a minor $800 option. A decent GARMIN unit will cost you approx. $250. The factory system is a whole lot larger and it will integrate with the other systems in the car. Imagine that the nav system is giving you location instructions over the car's speaker system - your cell phone rings....the nav is silenced, and you can talk to your caller. You cannot do that with a Garmin. IMO, the extra $450 is WELL worth it.

Do you ever think Chevy will add wifi 4g in the future?

I respectfully DISAGREE.

My problem is finding a restaurant or service station while I am moving with a factory unit. My Garmin will work when moving..

The Stingray nav will allow input if the passenger seat sensor senses the presence of a passenger.
Baby steps but it is still a step in the right direction.

I have seen those pictures. I'm skipping the nav option though. Waze is the best nav app available. Social media+nav, allows anyone to mark locations of accidents, police, slow traffic....anything.
