Not for the historics. Check out Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca web site for ticket info. $50.00 on Fri for General admission and paddock. You can spend all day at the Corvette display until you drop. Maybe even talk to some of team Corvette guys.

$225 is for the Pebble Beach Classic at Santa Barbara, the weekend coming up. The Monterey event is the 18th (week after this event) and is significantly cheaper. Like a poster above said Friday is $50 and Sat is $80 I think. Lots of info at the Laguna Seca website

The Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca are Fri., Sat., Sun. (Aug. 16-18)
The Pebble Beach Concours in Monterey is Sun. (Aug. 18)
This a BIG DEAL WEEKEND!. The Corvette is the featured marque. All the Corvette big shots will be there. There will be lots of C7s!

I think the Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca would be best. A lot of people go to the Pebble Beach Concours on Sun., and probably some C7s will go there.

You guys are getting me a little confused and we are going up for most of these events. Please let me try and clarify ...
****************************************
The Concours d'Elegance is at Pebble Beach on Sunday, August 18th and the tickets are $225 in advance and $275 on the day of the show.
Corvette & the C7, to my knowledge, have no real involvement with the Concours, but some say there may be one C7 on display at the entrance.
****************************************
However, Mazda Raceway @ Laguna Seca is hosting the "Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion" on August 16-18.
Corvette is the featured marquee celebrating the 60th Anniversary. Many historical Corvette race cars will be on display and there will be a focus on the role racing has played in Corvette development. The new C7 will be the star of the show.
There is special parking in the Corvette Corral for I believe 100 or 150 Corvettes. Corvettes parked in the Corvette Corral will be eligible for a relatively benign parade lap around the circuit beginning at 12:00 noon on Saturday and Sunday. It looks like there will be some higher speed Corvette laps with VIPs and maybe the C7s at about 12:30 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I have to believe that the C7s will be on display all three days and definitely Saturday and Sunday.
The historic race cars of the past (all makes), which is what the weekend is all about, will be racing in heats by category and era throughout Saturday and Sunday.
There is also a special Corvette luncheon at the raceway and on Saturday night there will be a special presentation by Corvette at The Embassy Suites celebrating the 60th anniversary and introducing the C7 and its developmental saga. This is supposed to be an update of the great presentation made at The Peterson Museum in L.A. that was held earlier this year.
The prices are fair and not exorbitant. These events will comprise one of the all time great Corvette functions for those who love the Corvette.

I'm guessing, but I would think there will be 10-20 C7s in the Monterey area for the weekend, maybe more. Probably 1 or more C7 pace cars, some in the Chevy tent in the vendor area, some in the Corvette Corral, and maybe some in the pit area. As far as the Concours d'Elegance at Pebble Beach, there will be a lot of rich car people there, so I'm sure there will be at least 1 C7.
Here's some pics from the 50th celebration.

"In honor of jpee"
But, I'd expect since the Corvette is the featured marque (again!)at the Historic Races in Laguna Seca, it will be there all weekend. It may also be somewhere downtown during the week when they have a "street show" of many cars/makes. That would not surprise me.

It is now confirmed that there will be a C7 parked on display in front of the Embassy Suites event. Tadge Juechter will be the main speaker along with Kirk Bennion. Unfortunately, Dave Tatman, the Corvette Plant Manager, will not be able to appear.
The GM videos and briefings from Bennion at The Petersen Museum earlier this year were great and well worth the time and money invested. But, much about the C7 was still secretive and not open for discussion and Q&A back then.
Now all the facts are out in the open and the addition of Tadge should make for a very enjoyable and informative event. Also, at $55 per person this may be the best bargain in Monterey for Saturday night.
Back to the events at Laguna Seca, the Corvette Corral is still open and the first 150 Vettes to sign up for the parade lap will be able to enjoy a group drive on the track. Helmets and rollbars not required for Verts because this is only a slow speed lap in traffic with no passing allowed.
