i was gonna remove pass seat and swap it with a folding lawn chair to save weight.

i would really like the comp seat for me but my significant other i am sure would not find it very comfortable, so i guess it's the GT for me and a harness, but only on the driver side

It's easy...find someone wanting to do the same thing and one of you order with the GT and one with the Competition seats (same interior color)...then swap one.

Voila!!!

Problem solved.

i only do autocross and she will not ride with me any more, the slaloms and breaking zone's do jerk you around bit and she kept getting sick, so that was the end of that

i guess the only animal parts i ever had was some cowhide on the seats, altho now that i think of it i did have some things they called elephant ears on the front brake backing plates of my 62

i think the seats are for right and left , if the side airbag is in them, so the swap thing wouldn't work, i wouldn't think it would be all that big of a deal while the car is coming down the assembly line, but it might be

I'm thinking it would screw up the active handling. One side of the car in competition mode and the other in sport mode. Esses would be tricky.
