hy would I see a C7 with a normal plate?
I live in the Metro Detroit area, so I'm used to seeing pre-production cars on the road, but they have manufacturer plates on them. Yesterday I saw a very nice looking c7 with a normal Michigan plate on it, on a Sunday afternoon. What gives?

Manufactures only have fixed quantities of "M" plates issued to them. They they have traditional plates as part of their fleet. When the quantity of available "M" plates is exhausted they must still find a way to tag them. There are a lot of test cars on the road right now.
