Default Forum Dealer(s) In Texas?

I am interested in sitting down and visiting with a dealer that really knows Corvettes. And since I would like to drive a C7 and see as many of the exterior colors and interior options 1st hand, it seems to make sense to try to find a Teas dealer that will have a number of C7s to see in person.

Is there a forum dealer(s) in Texas?

Hi Roger. I live in San Antonio too (Stone Oak). I'm still in shock after our game 6 loss.

I'm using Classic Chevy in Sugarland. Ask for Mark Kolon. I don't think they are a "forum" dealer though.

I'm using Westside Chevy in Katy. Smaller dealer; they had 27 allocations at the beginning...don't know if they've gone through them yet. Their vette guy, Bob Johnson, has been selling vettes for them for over 15 years. So far, they've been a stand up group; MSRP and $1K deposit. But it is my first corvette and my first time dealing with them...so keeping my eyes and ears open.

Im getting my C7 from Westside as well. When the first consensus came in May, the sales guy wanted a $2000 deposit. When I ordered in July it was only $1000 and MSRP. Apparently they didn't run through their allocation as quickly as they thought they would. Overall its been a pretty painless experience. We'll see what happens when the cars start arriving.

I'm buying from Lone Star in Jersey Village/Cypress. They had 19 allocations. All gone. I'm number 2 :-) Not a Forum Dealer

Nah. I'm a Van Halen fan. Tried to get OU812 (a Van Halen album) but it wasn't available. So I put TX in front of it because I'm born and bred... From Texas.

How did Freedom treat you? Did they come in at, above or below MSRP?

I paid MSRP with a $2,500 deposit....they claim to have the largest initial allocation in town with 12 coupes and 5 convertibles. All spoken for now except for maybe 1 convertible. I was #7 of 12 when I put deposit down in May. Order is "qued for production" hoping to get the car next month sometime. They have been cool...Jeff Harris is my sales guy.

Hello San Antonio People! I'm in Stone Oak as well. I look forward to seeing your cars around.

WackyBob, thanks for the dealer/rep name. Jeff Harris is the guy to see at Freedom? What did you think of the other San Antonio dealers? I guess from reading the thread there are no forum dealers close. I'm still about a year off from getting the car, but I have no knowledge of any of the local Chevy dealers. I want to avoid all the market adjustment, dealer add on junk.
