Default Black wheel alternative....opinions

I'm getting an AW Z51 with Red Interior / Black Wheels / Red Calipers.

What do you think of substituting the White HRE's for the Black GM's?

I don't know - I like the all-white theme, though; however, I believe that you would also need to have headlights with color-matching background to get the best effect. Maybe???

I like

My AW I ordered with silver painted and I plan to change for machined face with some black combo but now the white gives it a totally new look...exotic...

Would be nice to see those wheels on the C7...anybody?

I think the white wheels would look good. Harder to keep clean, but then I never let practical matters win over the appearance I like...

If you want to see the Stingray in white with black wheels, see the one in the Edmunds review. I normally dislike white paint and black wheels, but I have to say the car looks good in white with black wheels.

Does the Stingray in the photo in the first post have tinted headlight glass?

Has someone blacked out the A pillar or that's a factory option?

I'm about to finalize an order and I'm thinking about a white body and black roof/pillars/hatch.

There's a pretty significant price difference between the HRE's and the factory wheels.

I vote factory.

I hate brake dust, so no chrome or light colored wheels for me. I don't feel like being a slave to keep knocking the dust off. So I like something that hides it a while longer.

I went with a VY Z51, body color spoiler & mirrors, CF exposed center top and black wheels, black stinger stripe as in the top picture.

Good move ( course I think black wheels are the easiest way to make a vette look fugly, even though that's the latest "in" thing).

I've always liked (certain) black wheels on a white car!

Are the factory wheels forged?
What's the weight of the factory wheel?
20" cast wheels will weigh a ton.

Looks like the detail on the white wheels, even though it looks cool, would be a bitch to clean.

Thanks.
Zeems to me, Z51 is great value for everything the car gets in very real mechanical upgrades.
