Do the "wine and cheesers" up there like the car?

I think this car goes better with a Bud.

Torch Red, Yellow, Cyber Gray and NRB look like crap with chrome wheels.

The others aren't too bad.

Nobody should be spending $2K for the chrome option when that much $ can get you some nice custom wheels.

To each his own. Chrome looks good with some colors (Arctic White) and so-so with others. IMHO.

Typical Monterey visitor. Not really your Corvette kinda guy. Probably drives a Volvo.

Default Nice photos Bimmerborn!!!

The TR Corvette is stunning. The Blue is awesome too. I like the chrome rims but as stated previously, I would spend that money on a unique set of custom wheels. My last Corvette had the competition grey rims and they really didn't show any break dust, especially after I changed the brake pads to ceramic pads by Hawk.
The C7 really looks good in the matching color top compared to the C6. On my C6 cars I preferred the dark glass top.

Nice clear pictures, thanks dude.
Fuze,

We were looking at getting the c7 to replace the c5 but the GF says the rear looks like a transformer. I never liked the rear but didn't agree with that until I saw the close up at the back of the blue one there. My local forum vendor dealer said he'll have one for me in August but I assume that's being pushed back. The more pics I see the less I like it . I've been waiting 12 years now for a vette I'd like and I'm still going to be waiting it appears

It's Torch Red... the exact same color that came on C5s 1997-2004 and on C6s 2010+ (or whenever they ditched Victory Red and brought Torch back).

It is a shame that you feel that way. I remember when I first saw the ugly headlights on the C6. I really hated them. Now when I see one I am far more tolerant of the design..

You've obviously visited that area before because you nailed it exactly!
I have family in Santa Rosa that work in the wine industry and I have personally witnessed "those people" as in your video. It's a good thing that area also has a booming micro-brewery business to keep us regular guys happy.

Don't about other parts of the country, but chrome rims went out of style a long, long time ago in SoCal for all ages.

I, too, was skeptical about the rear end until I saw a C7 in real life. I also saw it next to a ZR1 and I can tell you that the C6 rear is definitely looking dated after seeing the C7. Now it is growing on me.

After saying that, I am sure there are still some out there that think the C6 ugly for having exposed headlights!
