Just GM doing exhaustive testing of the transporters to ensure that they don't break down before the warranty expires.

I would hazard a guess that these are some of the test vehicles that we have seen being driven in videos by different publications in the American Southwest.

It very possibly is a transportation test. Some new models from the big 3 are at times loaded on carriers and driven all over the country. The carriers eventually return to the plant for the cars to be offloaded and inspected for 'transport related issues'. Remember the issue on Corvettes with mag ride bouncing on transporters as they could not 'collapse' the suspension for travel - necessitated transport spacers in the springs.

Pure happiness with each of your posts old timer. You put us all in a good mood with your depressing comments on a daily basis... Life's too short to be so angry.

The last/first time I saw a similar photo they were testing the durability of the cover you see over the car.

Dealer training was scheduled to start Aug 15 at Spring Mountain; wonder if they got a transport full for the training?

They are all headed to Colorado C6's house. He's fallen hard for C7, but just didn't want anybody to know.

Rumor has it that Bondurant just got some, so these could very well be the ones for Dealer Training at Spring Mountain then turned over to Spring Mountain for their use.

There's a dealer event for the specialized 'Vett sales people & the Dealers Wednesday the 28th through the weekend in Vegas. My rep is traveling there on Wednesday. Maybe it actually starts with a reception Wednesday night. We should all go to Vegas .
