$100k? LOL No thank you.

They really should offer a 7 or 8 speed auto with the new Z06/7 too.

Will it be hardtop only again?

I was about to post the Keeks CAD and comment on the wheels being an exact match. We already know what this car will be...

1. Flared body work with a flared bumper so cloning will be more difficult.

2. Rear fascia has larger lower side vents and a taller spoiler which extends further forward.

3. Brakes appear to be carbon ceramic.

4. Engine will be suprcharged LT1 called LT4 we've all seen the CAD. And GM's interior shots showing a mock gauge cluster with a boost gauge etc.

Lol

There couldn't be any possible benefits to having wider tires.

Not for a Challenger, anyway. How are your 255s treating you?

I'm guessing 285 /35 /19 front and 335/30/20 out back.

The front end and fender is the one area we haven't seen. It'll be interesting to see if they go to the trouble of making new hood, fascia, and fender molds as well.

Didn't C&D also over-estimate the price of the Stingray?

Not as well as the 345s on my Z06.

How are the 185s holding up to all that Front wheel drive torque steer on the Camry? Is it harder at Toyota drift days with a FWD car?

When can we officially start a C7 Z06 section?

When we start talking $100K for a performance version of a $52K base car, I just shake my head. Sorry, I won't ever spend that much on a Corvette. That is where I look into spending a few extra dollars and buying a slightly used Lambo or Ferrari.

Do you REALLY need a car that performs better than the Stingray? If you do and want to pay $100K+, why would you want to buy a supped up $52K vehicle? Dont be cheap and step up to a more exclusive ride that doesnt have a cheap sibling.
I don't know? Ask the guys that dropped 100k on the ZR1's that almost nothing can touch. You cant pry those cars out of their hands. And the new C7 Z will stomp an older Ferrari / Lambo.

To be fair though, picking a used Lambo or Ferrari that will end up in the same cost of ownership as a Z07 would mean finding one well under $100k, once you factor in maintenance costs. And the exotics that are well under $100k look dated compared to the new ones, and won't perform as good as the Z07 either. I'd totally pick a new Z07 over a Ferrari 360 for example.

Who cares about exclusivity, status, etc.

quite a few here have "stepped up" and decided to come back down. Z cars are world class performers and exotic beaters regardless of cost.
