Nice thread
The plant works 4-10hr. days, M-TH, so I saw on another thread. So you would assume this week is only a 3 day week with limited updates if correct because of the holiday.
Hopefully some early VINs will ship next week.
I like this thread and will continue to check...thanks for the data gathering and analysis.

Ya know.... I'm going to make my first SWAG... way too early... but the wait is driving us all insane :-)
Based on the very skimpy data collected over the last three production days, I think we could see 4 or 5, or even 6, 3800s from our group each work day this week. Last Friday we had 44 3400s. There will be at least three production days this week and at least four next week. Boy, if the number 6 per day materializes, it could clean out the guys/gals on last Friday's 3400 list by Sept 12th... and the 7 cars added last Friday would be built on Monday the 16th... way too speculative... but geee, it is fun.
Last week I told my salesman that my car would be built on Sept 16... I might be wrong :-)

The highest VIN we've seen is 240. We are only seeing the sample that GMer is tracking for us, but my guess is around 250 as of last Friday.
Probably a good time to note that VIN numbers are approximate. When I spent six hours with my C6 on the line in Nov 2004 (see Avatar) the controlling number was the job number. It is close in sequence to the VIN, but the actual sequence of builds must be adjusted after the VIN is assigned.

Rick Conti has a customer at #294 from last week (http://www.corvetteconti.com/blog/?p=19219). So we are probably around 300.

Looking at the photo of GM's lot, my guess is that color does not play a great role.

We will take every shred of information and run with it... and once a day from you is the best stuff we've got.... by a mile!
Of course you could save yourself a lot of work... just share your GM user name and password with us :-)
By the way, before I retired I was a computer geek... so you gotta know I am kidding :-)
Bottom line you are our source of real information and we all appreciate it. As I said in your thread, I do hope our paths cross someday.

I don't know if this dealer is on these forums but here in Georgia not to many people think highly of Rick Hendrick's so I'm ordering it with Jim Ellis which is 2nd behind Hendrick's as far as Corvette's go.
I'm just trying to get a idea,I have other cars to drive and don't mind the wait.
