I wouldn't rely on pictures. When I saw it in person, it was much duller than I expected. Personally didn't care for it, so I dropped it from my order and will save the grand for future modding!

Thanks, just what I was looking for, seems the surface is smooth and not exposed weave, that's good.

Possibly a finishing polish could add some lustre....

I also agree it doesn't photograph well. Having seen it in person, I think it's a must have. I liked the finish. The interior feels like its missing something without it. IMHO. Good luck.

I'm surprised they decided on such a dull finish for the CF. The CF dash pops a lot more in flash photos than the normal daylight photos I've seen.

I too thought the CF looked much better in person. I am going with a Black interior so I thought the CF would dress it up a bit.

They did matte so it doesn't reflect into your face during sunlight like a gloss would. Plus it won't appear dirty as easily.

I was debating whether to get it or not- at first not wanting it. When I discussed it with Rick (Conti) for my order, he suggested that it finishes off the interior depending on the color combo. For me it was this, if it was glossy, or matte. The more the matte, the more I was inclined, and whether it was a laminate on the dash or actually one piece that replaces the standard dash. Turns out that its very matte (I prefer that as it doesnt appear to be a distraction aesthetically nor as a distraction as you are driving) and that its not a laminate.
So I opted for it.
My config is LT3 Vert Z51, NRB with Brownstone interior, blue top, red brakes and black wheels

I had glossy silver carbon fiber from APSIS on the Silver Devil, but thankfully I somehow escaped receiving a sunburn from it

The bigger problem was when I opened the hood

Much duller in person. I ordered it and happy I did but a tad disappointed.

To each his own on the look. But you are unlikely to get anything back on the expense when you go to sell the car:
