Default C7s In Austin TX This Weekend?

Any word if C7s will be at the ALMS and WEC races in Austin this weekend? I think they have been at other ALMS races this year.

I called and asked Chevrolet but they didn't know. I'm going Saturday so I hope they are there!

I can almost guarantee they will have AT LEAST 1 or 2 C7's at the ALMS race, either in the Corvette Corral or the Chevy display. I saw the C7 for the first time in person at Sebring back in March, in both the Corral and the display there. If you're really lucky you may get to see the C7R, but I wouldn't bet on that.

There was one at ALMS Laguna Seca in May. There were about 20 at the Rolex Reunion at Laguna Seca in Aug. The C7R was also at the Reunion.

I was there yesterday and they had a VY Z51 with black wheels and the black mirror option. It was amazing. I'm not usually a fan of yellow (my order Is CRM), but would own that one.

They also had a great cut-away car display so you can really see and appreciate a lot of what they've done to the C7.

I did take several pics of both but probably old news now.

When I found out Friday evening that there were C7's at the track, I was as excited about seeing the car as I was about the race.... I love the interior. Am going to have to warm to the rear of the car, but then I felt the same about the C5 (which I drive now) when I first saw it. So I'm thinking that by the time I can actually afford one, I will have...

Great racing, and to Corvette Racing...

They had at least 2 at COTA: a yellow Z51 at the GM tent and a blue at the Corvette Corral. It looks like there was a third being covered behind the trailer at the tent.

saw the black one, and there is a CGM non Z51 too. both are not for sale, as they have big signs on them telling you to bid on them on ebay. both have $10k market adjustment added to the price.

Hi Kelly. I missed your post. Yes I have seen several now at the race and local dealers including my color of choice Night Race Blue. The car looks great. Looking forward to mine being built. I got to speak with Harlan Charles as well. Too cool.

Thanks for asking.

I think the C7 Stingray is a great looking vehicle also, 66dreams! I bet you are excited to have your Corvette in your hands in the near future. If any concerns or questions arise, please contact us via private message so we can help.
