AutoNation in Greenacres is the dealer - I ordered my car there. They are stand up people. MSRP and that is it. They could have made a fortune on this, but did the right thing. I stopped in to see it this morning and they said they could not get a hold of the guy who bought it. He apparently changed his mind for one reason or another. Car is even more stunning in person. Too bad it was a 1LT.

Scraping the splitter.
I saw a 1LT at Kerbeck today and the interior looked great.
IMO, even the 1LT interior in a C7 looks far better than any of the interior levels in the C6's, which is a tremendous upgrade for the car.

Talked with dealer. Car is manual and kills the deal. However I am still awaiting our other order of vettes which are 4300 status. Hopefully they come in next week. We have a waiting list of renters ready to go.

The "buyer" doesn't even have the courtesy to call a few days in advance (to say I'm not buying the car), or take the call from the dealer on the day "his car" arrives.... Talk about a low class person. And then we sometimes wonder why dealers treat potential buyers with some contempt, even for a "$60K-$70K car."

Low class is exactly how to put it. This is my dealership and they have been nothing but stand up from minute one. I can assure you as soon as they knew the car was on the way BOTH the salesperson AND the inventory manager who is a stand up guy reached out to this buyer. They only took a $500 deposit, which to this potential buyer was clearly nothing. This is also perhaps why some dealers want larger deposits. Fortunately, it is a HOT car that they sold in 20 seconds, but that may not always be the case. When I went to look at it yesterday (to chat about mine) there were no fewer than 10 people that came by to see it in the 20 minutes I was there.
There are some dealers that would have put that on the floor and stuck a ADM of $5K to $10K and think nothing about it. Watch Ebay over the next 6 months.
