Default Finally got to see one - the cover feels like a thin diaper!

I got to see an ALL black (body, calipers, interior) Z51 and a TR Z51 w/aluminum wheels, black/grey int., black mirrors and spoiler.

The dealer was prepping them for their owners. I didn't get to touch either car. Everything was as I expected and I was very impressed. The C7 still seems smaller than the C6 to me, even though I know it isn't.

One thing I did do was touch one of the white transport covers that had been removed. It felt like a very thin disposable diaper, and is clearly made of soft paper and plastic.

It is made that way intentionally so when the whiney babies finally get their car they can be changed in to a fresh diaper for the ride home.

For the non-whiners, it can be used as a cape so you look like a super hero.

GTFO! They come with diapers? Wow. I knew they were marketing to a younger crowd, but I didn't know it was that young!

Better not be following a transporter to close or you might find one wrapped around your car. Appears they don't stay on that well when the transporter is flying down I-40 at a whopping 70 MPH.

A lot better deal than when I got my 2000 C5. It had obviously been on the front of the transport, and they had to compound and buff the front bumper and hood to remove the embedded bug juice.
Shortly after I saw a load of Kia's with the white protection all over them - I was a little perturbed.

My guess is the shipping cover is made of TYVEK, or similar.

Would feel and look like a FEDX pouch. Will not tear easily, water proof, and very hard to puncture.

The plastic backing didn't feel nearly that thick but it seemed pretty tough.
