And to my knowledge, without sales and tech training, that dealer will not get allocations to sell you a car. Like many dealers, they will promise the moon - but show me an order with a delivery date, coach. If they don't pay GM for training and special tools, my bet is they are getting zero Corvettes anytime soon.

Oh, and practice your English skills a little bit - you're a little short.
Am I missing something? Can you not see the posts right before you posted that says not only is he getting it at invoice,he ALREADY HAS IT!

It is quite obvious.
Because the car will bring sticker price when it first comes out.I am not sure what else there is to "address".

Not disagreeing necessarily w. your post but if the dealer got an allocation of 4 and sold all of them it means he sold some last year, too. That means to me that someone at the service end probably has some Corvette training. Maybe it isn't the largest new Corvette seller in the district, but it does sell some and that may be enough to warrant the expense of training and equipment for a technician. Just a guess on my part.

I think some of you are realizing just how much you could have saved if you played your cards right. The only way dealers sell at sticker, is if the customer BUYS at sticker! And we are seeing that there is a ton of markup in the Stingray!

I am hoping Rick understands my ordering this car elsewhere since an INVOICE deal could not be passed up. This C7 will probably be a trade in to Rick when GM eventually lets me order a Z whatever. Dave, quit being a troll, I got a rare deal.
Congrats on the deal. But you didn't get a rare deal. Everyone just got taken advantage of by their dealer! You just played the game better than most!!!!

There were posts that had not shown up when I posted my question about the allocation. Also, there was some very confusing information on this thread before the two just a few minutes before mine. The original posts made it sound like the dealer had one allocation for a C7, then he clarified that they had four and this was the last. My apologies for my misunderstanding of the facts.

As to the guy (meadowZ06) who keeps berating dealers who are not discounting them. You obviously don't know a damn thing about the business world. It's called "supply and demand". And along with the oldest profession in the world, it's the oldest business model in the world. Dealers are not discounting C7s because they don't have to. In the words of Steve Martin in "The Jerk"....Ah... It's a profit deal

Post a picture of the car and a copy of the deal. Sure the more options the more profit margin .

$55990 - $51005 invoice = $4985. GM card $ 498 = $ 4487 -$ 1000 from new car dept trade= $3487. Plus $ 30k for a 2007 Shelby = $1950 in tax saving on trade

Summery got a C7 for $1498 off MSPR. Got $ 31950 for my 2007 Shelby that I paid $ 32000 used 1 year ago. So there are some deals out there. Now lets say I waited one year

Maybe $ 2000 less on the C7 and maybe $3000 less on the 2007 Shelby .With the new Mustang coming out not sure what might happen to the Used Mustang market.

Even if you load up the car to $75105 - invoice of 67826 = $7279 not $8000

Pictures are coming. Wife has been joking this forum is as bad as Facebook for drama. She has the car on her wall but is going to do some shots with our ZR1 and 427 also to post here. I work two more nights so should get pics Sunday/Monday to post. Just gotta figure out how. BTW, anyone at Vettes and Vets next month. We will be there with the Stingray. I am retired Army and it looks like my ride along soldiers will get the Stingray now not the ZR1.

Well we are a suspicious bunch. Don't know your dealer but way back there was a broker in Bowling Green offering similar deals on C5s. BTW I believe ya!!!

Great score!!!!

Threads asking Kerbeck why he does not discount can be directed to any dealer.

People are willing to pay........ people are willing to sell. Economics 101.

I will clean up the album tonight when I am on my PC. Can't figure how to rotate the camera roll on this ipad. Anyway, the album now has four shots during PDI. Wife watched the guys like a hawk during the whole process, lol. She wigged when they pulled the wheels to do something. I was not there so not sure why, she said they told her some kind of plates had to be put on, dunno.
