Default Enclosed transport recommendations

I will be shipping the new sled from northeast to waaaaay southwest and it has been some years since I have used a transport company. Anyone have any strong impressions, good or bad, about particular enclosed transport providers.
Thanks much.

Sorry I can't answer your questioned directly, but is courtesy delivery an option for you? GM can ship the car to a local dealer.

I've heard good things about Intercity. MacMulkin uses them all the time.

unfortunately, local dealers are really out of the loop, and I would not want the C7 in their hands, even briefly. So courtesy delivery just did not seem like a prudent option.......

Intercity is a Forum vendor and offers a modest discount (7% I think) but they are one of the higher priced ones to start with but have a great reputation for service.

Others are Plycar, used by Mike Furman at Criswell and others; Reliable, FedEx Passport.

Make sure you understand the pickup and delivery windows for each company you consider so you know it they will work with/for you. Many companies quote a window of plus/minus 7 days or more, some as much as a month.

If I still had my enclosed trailer I would offer to deliver it for you. I've transported quite a few vehicles.

I've used Plycar as recently as 18 months ago and they were great. On time , no damage, seemed to really care about my vehicle.

Kiwi delivered my 2013 Viper to my doorstep. I had a minor issue with them at first (truck broke down and no one called me to tell me). But once that was sorted I was pleased.

Getting the car delivered to your doorstep is a fantastic experience.

I've used Exotic Car Transports in Orlando on several cars, and been very satisfied with their rates and the way they take of the car. I think Rogers Corvettes uses them almost exclusively as well as Classic Cars of the South.

Default Corvette Transportation

I had an excellent experience with David Mazzalupo of Mazzalupo Carriers. He brought my C6 convertible from New Jersey to Florida. I wasn't present at either pickup or delivery, but Mazzalupo picked up the car on time from the dealer, provided excellent documentation and photos of loading process. Obtained dealers signature on statement of condition, bill of lading, etc. Applied protective tape, etc. Enclosed transport priced below what brokers were offering. Car was expertly handled and delivered on time. I'd used this carrier again without reservation.

Passport charged me $1950 from NYC to Cali for a Vette.

Shipped a Ford GT with them twice; flawless.
