Seriously though - it's normal to have a burning smell from new engines burning off various chemicals applied during manufacturing

Exhaust pipes may have oil on them from manufacturing process.

I noticed the same thing on day one....took it out today for a little joy ride and I dind't notice it. I'm assuming it's part of the breakin process and normal.

If the smell continues, please let me know. I want to make sure you enjoy your C7 and have zero worries, except for the boys in blue!

Kelly, you even do this on Sunday! You are truly a dedicated GM employee. Sure glad you are here and helping.
My order # RDSZ68 in case you have spare time to check my status. What does TPW stand for ? , some thing to due with production I think.
Thank you again

Thanks
Bruce

Hey Bruce,

Yes, I am here on Sundays. My off days are Fridays and Saturdays. I do love my job though, I am super lucky!

I have written your order number down and I will check it tomorrow morning. The system does not work on Sundays.

Thanks Bill, for jumping in on the TPW question.

I will PM you tomorrow Bruce.
