I apologize for missing this one, there are lots of things about the car I failed to mention in the review.

The stereo does sound great, better than any Corvette before. The bass is heavy, even on a low setting. But I did not play with the settings much, I think most will find a setting that best suits them.

Thank you as ndogg also noted. Now can you even override it to sound like track mode? I had read somewhere that track mode sound is only for track mode.. is that true?

Thanks for the detailed review!

Any thoughts on how the A6 acceleration was? Did you try a 0-60 or 1/4 mile?

I did not try a 0-60mph or 1/4 mile run. On the track the car pulls hard throughout it's broad power band. Through the DIC there is a 0-60 timer, would be fun to play with that some time.

The A6 felt crisp. Brought RPMs right up to redline before shifting, and each shift felt confident. I think the TCM adapts and learns, and feel should improve after a bit of driving.

WOW! What a fabulously written review!! Take it from a professional writer/broadcaster - I realize you're obviously doing what you truly love, but if you ever need something to occupy your time - other than your 'day job' - this is it!! And the pictures are gorgeous.

Thank you for recognizing what lies within the review. I've never considered myself a writer, but it means a lot to me.

I can. Your description hints at most of them but what are the options on your car besides auto trans and 3LT?

Very nice write up with pics.

A really great review, thanks! The photos are really nice, especially the two showing the C7 under the Corvette signage, truly awesome, what a selling statement...best I've seen so far.

When running around the track were you in Track Mode or Sport Mode?

Also can you make the car sound like it does in Sport Mode but actually be in Touring Mode?

If so, can you make it sound like in Track mode but be in Touring Mode?
Yes, you can set the pipes in any configuration you want to match any mode.

Thank you for the wonderful review, n8dogg. The car sounds wonderful; and, that's as close as I'll ever get to a C7.

I'm 69 as of this past July. I bought my first ever Corvette a year and a half ago; a beautiful Maggie Red '99 M6 coupe. I had to wait this long so as to be able to afford it. By the time I will be able to afford a '14 C7 I'll be pushing daisies!

So, your wonderful review may be as close as I'll get. Great Job.

Best Regards to all,

Gunny John

PS. However, put your violins away. I flat love my C5 Maggie.

Our Stingray was ordered to be a Z51 Coupe, Torch Red with Black/Adrenaline Red interior. The options included the 3LT package, an automatic transmission, chrome wheels, navigation, and the performance exhaust.
