As far as reviews go you really set the bar high. That was so well put together it was a real joy to read and enjoy some great pictures. What really hit me is that's the same car I ordered and will come off the line tomorrow 9/30. Again you made my Sunday afternoon .

I'm 69 as of this past July. I bought my first ever Corvette a year and a half ago; a beautiful Maggie Red '99 M6 coupe. I had to wait this long so as to be able to afford it. By the time I will be able to afford a '14 C7 I'll be pushing daisies!

So, your wonderful review may be as close as I'll get. Great Job.

Best Regards to all,

Gunny John

PS. However, put your violins away. I flat love my C5 Maggie.
Gunny John....I respect your of C5 Maggie... As a military vet, I thank you for your service. I was Navy (1971-76 Vietnam), and if I may....Semper Fi.....

Great write up. Definitely sets the bar higher. Except for no red calipers, identical to what we ordered. Oh so sexy!

Okay,

I don't see that any one else has asked, so I will. I thought it had been said earlier that AFM (V4 mode) would only work in Eco mode, so putting it in any other mode would basically eliminate AFM. You indicated you saw it go in V4 mode in all modes except for Track, is that correct?

one more time

stick shift - it only works in eco
auto - it works in all modes unless you shift to manual and use the paddles...

Has someone with an auto already figured out "the fix" for those who might be so inclined? That having been asked, it seems to me that it would be worth seeing if it is an issue for oneself before doing anything.

That's the answer

If you want to avoid AFM... only use your paddles in manual mode on the auto. My C63 had paddles and the car NEVER was driven in normal auto (too boring) and I always used the paddles. That's what I'd do with the Cy too to avoid AFM if I were so inclined.

I have a module that plugs in that will kill it all the time in every mode...we'll see how that works after I get the car...

That red looks great, classic Corvette. I'd opt for the kalahari interior if it was mine, but red looks good as well.

Can you have the digital speed in any mode or only track?
