Bad news for my Museum delivery tomorrow. My C7 is missing!

When Laurie called from the Museum I was so stunned
I could not comprehend what she was saying.
They have a series of checks to make sure the car was ready for delivery but I guess the car never made it to the Museum.
She said someone dropped the ball somewhere along those cross checks.

BTW this sucks but I don't think they lost your car. Good Luck

What exactly would you say then? The car is scheduled to be delivered at the museum tomorrow morning but Laurie from the NCM can't find it in order to make that delivery and she doesn't know where it is, their for its missing! The individual that's suppose to know where the car is does not k ow where it is so what do you call that? Mis-placed? Put in the wrong spot?

Your reading comprehension must be a whole lot better than mine. Where did you get that? The museum is not going to call a guy and make him cancel his trip when all they have to do is prep and detail it. As others have said, they are first class, and would bust there *** to get it ready if it really was there.

Things can do wrong with these cars on the line that prep or detailing won't fix. It sux but it happens.... I feel for the OP but I don't think the car disappeared.

I've actually had this happen, only it was a mustang. I had ordered one and it was supposed to be dropped off at Saleen in Southern California for conversion to an S281. They dropped it off instead at a dealer who finally called Ford a week later to ask what they were doing with a car destined for NC.
OP hope they find your baby and damn sure hope they make it right

Perhaps I misread your first post. You made it sound like they had the car at the Museum but not ready yet. If I read you wrong I apologize. I agree it's hard to believe they don't know where it is, but then again I'd be surprised if the Museum lied about that. But GM.....they could lie in a heartbeat.

You mentioned before that you bought the machined face wheels..you said you would take an up close picture of the wheel so we could all see it. Maybe because the wheel is such a mystery and does not exist, they are trying to figure out what wheel to give you...
Just kidding around, but it is kind of humorous that your C7 has the elusive machined face wheel.... and now your C7 cannot be found... Please post the pics whenever they find it..

I really want to see this combo... on the fence about ordering red interior with yellow. Works great in race cars, but not sure I'll like it in a street car.

Sorry to hear of the op troubles. This makes no sense to me. The car is delivered to the museum, then the pdi is preformed and finally the car is staged in the museum atrium. How in the world could they not realize that your car was not on site until the day you were supposed to arrive??
Hope it works out for you
