Had to get my first oil change yesterday, just over 1000 on the odometer already.

Cool idea and it's neat to see all of the international places C7s are located but somehow I doubt Tom in north Korea has one.

No problem! Thanks for sending me PM about it. I don't always check this thread every time a new post is posted, so sending a PM is the best way to contact me.

Default Corvette density per area

I just added my new (4 month old) 2016 Corvette to the map. I was driving around my area the other day (Space Coast/Brevard County, Florida), and thought to myself that there are a lot of Corvette's in this area. Whenever I go out for a hour drive, I will probably pass 10 to 20 other Corvette's. That is a lot for a small area like mine. I was wondering what areas have the highest density of Corvette's per population. Because of the space program and affluent engineers in the days of the space program and plus many of the early astronauts got free Corvettes, I would think there are quite a few Corvettes per our population. I know I drove it down through several cities from Nashua, NH and hardly saw another Vette.

Default Stolen wheels

I am not going to show the location of my C7 after the theft of my brand new car's wheels from our secure building in Alexandria, VA. I will not help out the thieves.

And if same thieves read the forum? I doubt that they got your work location from looking at the map and then tracking you to work.
I think that bad luck and good looking wheels on a nice car had more to do with the theft than posting on the owner's map.

I think most crimes like this are more likely a result of target of opportunity rather than painstaking research.

rcooper, I'm not blaming the map site for the theft of my wheels. I said I do not want to give the thieves an easy reference. That is what I said.

I disagree based on experience. The theft of my wheels was carried out same night 4 others where jacked. They used an air jack and carried cinder blocks, 2 to hold up the car without setting off the alarm. Clearly research was done, the police agree. One of the guys saw the thieves while they were in action, they ran away in their big VW. He got in his Corvette to chase and his wheels fell off. OMG that is a tragedy.
