With no tuning. Would be impressive to see 470rwhp/470rwtq with just headers and a tune.

So with just headers, it's safe to assume that these cars will be making 500 horses at the crank?

While that would be impressive.

Picking up 30 rhwp & 45-50 ft/lbs of torque from simply bolting on headers is already absolutely ridiculous. Even moreso considering this is just a $1500-2000 bolt-on item, and you could easily return it to stock one day.. all without every voiding your warranty.

Maybe it's the video sound quality, but it doesn't sound clean. Nice bump in power.

This is just unbelievable suggesting NO tune has even been thrown into the mix yet... Intake, Tune, Headers could be really close to 500wtq... This is just unreal

Agreed.
It would be nice to see a ~475-500 rwhp package with just a set of headers (I prefer to keep the cats in place), intake and tune within like...two weeks.

Awesome gains! Especially so considering the short development time. I hope to see some more power squeezed out with more time.

Can we get confirmation that the gains were from headers only and no tune was used?

I am really excited about the potential of this engine.

The file name for the image is: C7_dyno_no_tune_first_header_dyno_pulls. jpg

So I think it's safe to say there wasn't a tune. Sick gains. Seems like Chevy is leaving a lot of performance on the table (between this, and the results of a tune on a stock car), probably so they can do a mid-cycle refresh a few years from now and easily bump up the power.

There's a video in that linked thread with better sound quality. It sounds great.
