We love the contrast of the black against the white also.
Now we will see how long it takes to build.

Which dealership did you order from? You do understand the allocation process, correct?

I ordered it through Campbell Chevrolet in Bowling Green. I do understand allocation process. They had a stock car allocation that they will sub in my order on top of. They believe I will get it in a normal period of time. Also I am not getting a Z51 which is on constraint right now.

Still won't believe it until they call with actual build date.

Also I am willing to wait a while for the $8500 discount from MSRP.

Yeah, we live in Colorado and have two high powered convertibles on summer tires. There is a diesel F250 parked next to the garage.

What's interesting are the comments we get. Mustang people give us crap about the Vette (I had a C6 before the new one) and from Vette people about the Shelby. They are two very different cars, but both are loads of fun.

Think again. I had the wing spoiler put on yesterday, it looks MUCH better than the little stock black one:

Default 9 months, 2 weeks and 4 days later Zee is finally home !!!

What can I say that has not been said already. Having bought this car sight unseen and no road test obviously, I as many others took a leap of faith and spent a lot of their hard earned dollars with the General.

Well today was the first time I pressed the start button on my car and in one word just "fantastique oui oui" !!! (pardon my French...)

I was a bit nervous heading home in the middle of rush hour for my first drive but I did notice the "looks" and smiles from fellow motorist as I was heading home. Did get a few thumbs up, other drivers would give me right of way when it was not mine to take (guess wanted to get a better look?)

Anyway I am a very happy camper. Can't wait to drive top down for the full effect!!!

So now Zee is sound asleep for a couple of days but looking forward to the week end for some more fun!!

3 LT, Z51, 7 speed, Selectable Suspension, Dual Mode Exhaust, Red Calipers and Micro Upper trim. GM wheel arch guards and Aero-side skirts added. Best riding / perfoming Vette I have had and this is the sixth one I have owned - all new... 2 C4s, 1 C5, 2C6s and now this C7.

For those of you who plasti-dipped the chrome grill how is it holding up? Does it weather well? Do you have problems with bugs sticking to it?

I'm considering doing it this weekend but would like feedback first from those who have done it.

Thanks AW bruthas.

I'm wondering the same question and can you wipe it off and is it glossy or a matte? I've never seen it, so I don't know what consistency it is and where can you buy it? Thanks

It can be peeled off and is flat, they sell a gloss coat for it but I have never used it. Should be able to pick it up at your local hardware store. It will come in a spray can.
