What does everyone think of the Yellow paint on a C7? Isn't this color reserved for, or look best on exotics such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.? I have seen a lot of Yellow Gallardo's and think, "kapow," love that car. I see it on Corvettes and think, "gonna be tough at resale time." Thoughts?

I personally do not like yellow cars.. that being said I think the C7 looks awesome in yellow. It is exotic and the lines are sharp enough to make that color pop.

It is only a good color if you like attention and the light, bright "feel" it gives you when driving it. The resale thing, IMHO, total myth. Here is my first C6. In the second photo that is the Pacific Ocean about 10 miles north of Ensenada, Mexico. For me the VY Vette inspired adventure

That is why it crossed the checkered flag first so much... the other cars were "following"

People tend to seek out these cars making resale easier. If you want a red corvette you have your pick of what is for sale. if you want one of the more limited colors you have to take what you can find

Well your best bet then would be to get some other color unless, in your opinion, the C7 IS an exotic. Isn't it THAT SIMPLE? Several of us have told you how WE feel. Do what you are gonna do and be happy

poor resale?! If I was in the used Corvette market and saw to equal used C6's with the only exception being colour, I would definitely pick yellow over all else.

especially with carbon flash mirrors and spoiler + cyber gray dual stripes.

I haven't seen a pic of this but I imagine it would look awesome.

What he said. I would likely get tired of it quick if I owned it, but with my limited exposure to it I really like it.

I am in the market for either a 04-05 Lambo Gallardo which is yellow or a C7 in White. It just got me thinking about how I like Yellow on an exotic, but don't care for it in Corvettes, Camaros, NSX, Porsche, etc. I don't know why....

I don't get it then. If your mind is already made up, what is the point of this thread?

LOL at the resale myth of a yellow corvette. I've had 2 VY corvettes. A 2006 coupe and a 2007 Z06. I got top dollar for both. Top dollar. I think VY makes the C7 look more like an exotic then any of the other colors.
