Dual racing stripes.
Has anyone ordered their cars with the stripes? the dual set in any color? I sure would love to see pics of any exterior color with any stripe color..
not stinger stripes please....
i guess no one likes the dual stripes but me...

I think we are a minority so far.
I ordered mine in cyber gray with inferno orange dual stipes from Kerbeck this week and the salesperson told me that I was the first he personsonally dealt with to have ordered stripes of any kind.
If you do a search of 2014 corvette stripes, youll get a few pics of preproduction cars with them. White on yellow, orange on silver and tint red on white.
I was on the fence about getting them and tried to figure out why no one else has and sort of came up with reasons. Mainly, I dont think they were available until a couple of weeks ago and most cars hitting the streets now were ordered before that. Then there is the fact that its a first run of a new version and people want the pure version. Its a beautiful car with or without them but I think for both the collector and the daily driver, stripes are too flashy. My friend loves the car but is threatening to get me a velvet suit and a frilled shirt if he sees me with stripes.

I agree that it's flashy, but i personally love flash!
Maybe it's a certain generation that goes for this type of thing...i'm thinking people in their 50's on up would not want these stripes while maybe some 30's-40's might like them? heck, i don't know..all i know is i've always loved stripes!! we have a 66 fastback with a dual set and i loved the old camaro's/firebirds with stripes too.
well, there's 3 of us!

I ordered dual stripes
I just got a call a couple of days ago that my build was complete....
Should get here in a couple of weeks...
I think stripe orders are probably few and far between

GM had a silver c7 with the full length black stripe at Corvettes at Carlisle and it looked amazing! I will post a picture I took when I have time and I'm not driving! Haha!

I really like the dual stripes, but you're right that we seem to be in a small minority. Most people here seem to think they look tacky... But screw em. SCREW EM ALL!!! 
I'm planning on eventually getting Laguna blue with black wheels and black racing stripes. I, too, would like to see pics if anyone has ordered the racing stripes yet.

The dual carbon flash stripes on Blade Sliver is amazing. Right now that would be my #1 choice (but I tend to change the color I want about every 15 minutes... 
)
I think they look great on light color cars but not on dark colors. I'd never put stripes on a a LRG car, for example.

Just waiting on mine. It's sitting idle with z51 constraint.
3lt blade silver, mag ride, z51, 7spd , red calipers, 2 roofs, stripes, and blacked out mirrors, black 3lt interior, black wheels.....looks like the one in my avatar

Ok, so what are your thoughts on this combo, this is what i'm looking at..
Artic White/red int./red calipers/ Crystal red dual stripes/ black carbon mirrors spoilers/black rims.
do you think the red interior is too bright for the crystal red stripes? i do not want torch red stripes...

We ordered NRB with cyber grayb dual stripes. We didn't want flashy as lots of people think the stripes are. We wanted to break up the color. We're VIN 2391, car went to 4D00 on 9/27 yet still no idea when it'll ship. Will definitely post pics when we get it!
