I'm missing it. Where are you seeing that?
Never mind, the video didn't load for me the first two times I looked at this thread. All I saw was the drag race on the other thread. I'm guessing he's going down hill AND the speedometer is optimistic. No way in the world a stock C7 is going to get anywhere near 200.

I still find the realistic imaging involved it the latest gaming quite amazing. Probably higher RPMs in highest gear (6 auto, 7 manual) than the car is actually capable of doing in real life. Nice it stayed on the ground, though

Stock C6 505 horsepower Z06's run 172-175 in the mile and stock 638 horsepower ZR1's run 182-185 in the mile, and you think a stock 460 horsepower C7 is going to beat that?

No... That was in a mile and a half run. It got to 185, and fell back to 180, several times from what was conveyed.

If you look at the tuner code, there does appear to be a limiter. I don't recall if it was for an Auto or manual, Z51 or not. It could be different for each configuration, and tires.

I thought that the purpose of GM spending ten million hours in the wind tunnel, perfecting the shape of the C7, and with the hood vent and rear end vents, that the car was supposed to be more stable at high speeds than the car it replaced. A 2005 400 HP C6 ran 186 MPH top speed and a 2008 436 HP base C6 ran 190 top speed so I'm wondering why GM would then put a speed limiter of 185 on the C7? All C6's and C7's come with (Y) rated tires including the 198 MPH Z06 and the 205 MPH ZR1.
Was the car running the Mojave Mile and a Half a base or Z51, A6 or M7?

1320 you are very correct, we will not see 200. As for the 1/4, I believe it will take a very expereinced drag racer to get sub 12 out of this car. Between getting the right launch mode and the small tire patch it will be interesting to see who cracks 12 first.
