My New Stingray Vanity Plate - Good? Bad? Indifferent?
Hi Stingray Enthusiasts,
I know I may be asking for it but I wanted to know if you like (or not) the new vanity license plate for my Stingray. The vanity plate has been ordered but I haven't received it yet. However, the Stingray won't arrive until next year I'm afraid.
My vanity plate reads: 5RE
Can you guess the meaning of the vanity plate without reading the answer that I will soon post below?
Like it? Don't like it? Indifferent? Why?
Thank you for your inputs (gulp). I will post the answer soon. Just waiting for some guesses and feedback first.

Is 5RE an option code? Looks like a paint code or something to me...
At any rate... if no one can figure out what your vanity plate means, why have it?

Here's The Answer But You May Not Like IT :(
Hi Fellow Enthusiasts,
I am the OP. First of all, thank you all for your guesses. I know you guys are an educated bunch so I must have blew it here with my new vanity plate.
The member who guessed Ferrari was close. Ferrari, aka 4RE. My vanity plate was 5RE, therefore, a step above 4RE. IMHO, the Stingrays do have some resemblance to Ferraris. I like 4REs, it's just that 5RE's are better! One better at least, as in 5 comes after 4.
Now, that you know. You can shoot me cause I think I might just have wasted $50 for the plates. Oh, cruel world.
He, he. Thanks again for your guesses which equates to honest feedback that my new plates didn't mean to many what I would like them to mean.
BUT, now that you know ... does it make sense? Do you like them a little more? Should I dump them? Do these suck?
Thanks again for your trouble!

From the responses here, I'd say you missed the mark on the vanity plate.
