Chip,

Just pointing out something that made my morning.

On page http://www.c7corvettepartsandaccesso...oor-CKC7SS.htm it reads as follows:

C7 Corvette Stingray Satin Stretch Car Cover. Coverkings Satin Stretch C7 Corvette Car Cover is perhaps the best looking car cover ever made. Made from form fitting Lycra, the Satin Stretch Corvette Car Cover hugs every curve of your Stingray. Equipped with a soft fleece lining, this Corvette Cover is sure to be genital on your paint. The edges are elasticized to contour to the bottom, insuring no dust or dirt get in. Custom fitted with matching mirror pockets, this car cover has no seams to give it that smooth sexy look. This Corvette Car Cover is for indoor use only and is not water resistant. This Stingray Cover is perfect for showing off your car, even when it is covered up. This is a thin, light weight cover and folds up into a nice small compact size.

Was looking at the differences between the form fit and the satin stretch units and had to chuckle.

What is the best travel cover? We will be touring in the Corvette later this year and we want a cover that offers protection from UV rays and possibly some ding protection from careless parkers. However, it must be able to be compressed for minimal space as there is not a lot of room in the back of the C7 when you have luggage as well.

Really that's the rub...Ding protection is gained by a thicker cover,
compression is a lighter cover...they are two different things.

Compression - Stormproof or Weathershield

Ding - Noah or Autobody Armor (bulky)

Any chance you could post a photo? I sure would like to see how the two tone cover looks on a C7. Thanks.

Coverking has not release stock photos of the C7 yet, but it looks
exactly like the C6 in the picture in post #1

As soon as they do release a C7 pic, I will gladly post one up for you.
Perhaps one of our customer that have already purchased it will post up a pic for us.

Regards
Chip

Tired of washing it, putting in the garage clean, and returning to a half inch of pollen on the car.

Garage not heated.

Your recommendation?

Also is the recommended cover washable by machine ?

Coverking Stormproof if you want a really light compact cover
(great for pollen) Think parachute material (also good to take on the
road with you if you leave the car outside.

Covercraft Dustop is you want a medium weight cover. It is indoor
only and gives you some ding and dent protection as well

Tom,

If you want a thin, compact cover either the Covercraft WeatherShield
or the Coverking Stormproof.

If you want a thick cover that will give you ding and dent protection
then the Coverking Autobody Armour is the one.

Sorry saw that after I posted. Not sure I want the Satin type cover. Car always stays garaged but usually I prefer something that has a little more protection.
