Default Warning Stickers on Sun Visors

I think there was a thread on this a few weeks ago but I could not find it, so if this is a repeat, I apologize. Is there any way to either remove or cover up the ugly yellow and white warning stickers on the sun visors?

for my C6 the only way was to cover them with another patch.
check aftermarket vendors, they should work for the C7 as they did for the C6 presuming the color options are there.

A hot hair dryer helps the peeling process.

Hair dryer definitely works. Its much easier if you take your time and don't let it rip into smaller pieces. I have done it with all my cars, huge improvement in looks.

Sin - I don't think they would look too good on your Ferrari.

I normally put stickers over mine, but this time I thought I would try to remove them while they are still new and fresh. They did not seem to be as permanant as those on my C6.

First I got my heat gun out and heated the stickers. I got them as hot as possible without burning the sticker or the fabric (heat gun gets hotter than a hair dryer). Once I got them hot enough, they would peel off without leaving too much goo behind. It sometimes helped to provide a bit more heat through the process. After the sticker is gone, it looks like kind of a mess and I was starting to wonder if I did the right thing.
I then used a product called "Goo Gone." I sprayed some on the visor directly and let it soak a bit. I then put some on a clean micro fiber rag and rubbed it. After some time, I was able to remove all of the adhesive and the visor looks very good. The goo-gone seems to dry with little or no residue (but a bit of smell for a while).

In the end I'm glad I did it, and think it looks very good. There is only a slight indication of where the stickers were, but I'm thinking I could have done even better with a very soft toothbrush. I didn't take photos, but if I did you would not be able to see any indication that there was a child seat sticker (don't forget to put the kids in the back seat).

Give it a try, worse case you end up putting the stickers over top, but if it works for you as it did for me you will like the results.

Totally agree. First try and remove them...if that fails cover them up.

There is a good discussion of this on the C6 forum.

I used a hair dryer, Goo Gone and a wet towel on my C6; works and the results look great.

Takes about 1 hour.

I used the same procedure on my C7 & got the same result.

It is a bit of work but removing them is the only way to go IMO.

I heard that $300 is in the price of every new car for stickers and labels that protect us from our selves. That is just wrong.
