Warning Stickers on Sun Visors

Warning Stickers on Sun Visors
I think there was a thread on this a few weeks ago but I could not find it, so if this is a repeat, I apologize. Is there any way to either remove or cover up the ugly yellow and white warning stickers on the sun visors?

Melting Slicks
A hot hair dryer helps the peeling process.

Hair dryer definitely works. Its much easier if you take your time and don't let it rip into smaller pieces. I have done it with all my cars, huge improvement in looks.

I normally put stickers over mine, but this time I thought I would try to remove them while they are still new and fresh. They did not seem to be as permanant as those on my C6.
First I got my heat gun out and heated the stickers. I got them as hot as possible without burning the sticker or the fabric (heat gun gets hotter than a hair dryer). Once I got them hot enough, they would peel off without leaving too much goo behind. It sometimes helped to provide a bit more heat through the process. After the sticker is gone, it looks like kind of a mess and I was starting to wonder if I did the right thing.
I then used a product called "Goo Gone." I sprayed some on the visor directly and let it soak a bit. I then put some on a clean micro fiber rag and rubbed it. After some time, I was able to remove all of the adhesive and the visor looks very good. The goo-gone seems to dry with little or no residue (but a bit of smell for a while).
In the end I'm glad I did it, and think it looks very good. There is only a slight indication of where the stickers were, but I'm thinking I could have done even better with a very soft toothbrush. I didn't take photos, but if I did you would not be able to see any indication that there was a child seat sticker (don't forget to put the kids in the back seat).
Give it a try, worse case you end up putting the stickers over top, but if it works for you as it did for me you will like the results.

There is a good discussion of this on the C6 forum.
I used a hair dryer, Goo Gone and a wet towel on my C6; works and the results look great.
Takes about 1 hour.
