^ Yes, but only if you order the C7 with the Personalized Plaque & Carbon Flash Hood Stripe

I believe linfelter (dont know the real spelling) already got 502whp so with 15% your looking at almost 580 hp already.. its just a matter of time before they get more than 638 hp to beat the ZR1...

plus, the C6 is ugly!!

Supercharger horsepower and torque under the curve will easily surpass a normally aspirated car such as the C7. Not even close

And if my aunt had ***** she'd be my uncle. Simple question; C7 vs ZR1. Not if this had this and this one had that, that wasn't the question.

Lets see where this topic leads.
Well, considering that you're asking the question in a C7 General section, I'm going to say those members who just bought a C7 or have one on order will choose the C7

Those who own a C6, can't get out of their C6, or own a ZR-1, will choose the ZR-1.

Let's see if this plays out this way

To me, it's about appearance, and therefore, the C7 gets my vote

I was just dealing with this same dilemma myself. I took home a $75k 2009 ZR1 with 3k miles from the dealer for a day and half. Drove the car quite a bit. Although I never took it to a track, I got a good feel for it's performance capabilities on the street. It's relatively fast, rides nice, handles well, and looks good. It also squeaks quite a bit and interior is horrible. I took it back to the dealer and ordered a loaded C7 for $5k less.

If I didn't already own another fast street car, the decision would have been harder due to the ZR1's out of the box performance. But honestly, even in that scenario, I still think I'd go with a C7 with a LMR H/C package over a ZR1. The C7 is just that much better of a car.

I absolutely love the C7, but if someone said: "Congratulations, here are two cars for free which do you want," I'd agonize over the decision but in the end would be very hard-pressed not to choose the ZR-1... for many of the reasons stated here.

That's not to take anything away from the C7. An amazing car. But the ZR1... what a lovely beast of a car. Perhaps not the better daily driver though, I'll grant you that.

put it this way, it's easier to make a C7 in to a ZR1 than a ZR1 into a C7.

I'd take the zr1 over a c7 same way I'd choose a c5z06 over a c6 (non z). But when the hi-po c7 comes out.... different story
