Default Anybody have the production codes & they're meaning

I can't find the list GM'er posted with the production codes, and need to decipher the code 3400. I know the codes up to this one, but can't remember what 3400 is.

The codes are on the Kerbeck order update list.

Thx. I looked at the Kerbeck website and I think you are referring to the option codes. I couldn't find the build codes.

The GM'er status thread still exists in the database. It is no longer in the sticky section:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c7-g...us-update.html

And here is the administrator's post on un-sticking the thread:

YES! Thank you.

Question: Does 3400 mean I now have a production week, or is my order still waiting for one?

You may or may not have a production week. It will be assigned sometime when you are at 3400.

Anything past "3300 - Order Scheduled for Production" should have a target production week (TPW), but with all of the supply hitches and QC holds, the TPWs have not been reliable.

"3400 - Order Broadcast (Internal Plant Order Produced)" Should mean the order is in the plant's system for build, but again if parts are not available could be held up.

Even "3800 - Vehicle Produced" which means the car is through the line and built can still be held for QC.

Your dealer should be able to get the information for you.

Here is basically the same list but with a few additional details.
Mariano (Alfie)

Order status codes:
1100 = Preliminary Order (Order passed GM edit tables but dealer has not used an allocation to place order)
2000 = Accepted By GM (Dealer used allocation to place order into production)
2500 = Preferenced (Order pulled to the production system)
3000 = Accepted By Production Control (Order input into the production system)
3100 = Sequenced (Order sequenced for Production)
3300 = Scheduled For Production (Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle)
3400 = Broadcast (Order sent to build & supplier areas to bring order together)
3800 = Produced (Order is built and VIN# shows in the Dealer Order system)
4150 = Invoiced (Order is invoiced to the dealer)
4200 = Shipped (Vehicle is shipped to the dealer or point of delivery)
5000 = Delivered To Dealer
6000 = Delivered To Customer

My dealer did give this info today, but an earlier inquiry with GM's on-line chat said nothing about going to 3400, and in fact said there was a "change" that they could not elaborate on.

So far my dealer is doing a great job at tracking my order. Tropical Chevrolet in Miami. Great folks to do business with.

The codes aren't always accurate. Mine went from 3400 on a Monday morning when Lori sent me three teaser photos of LoLa coming off the line on Monday to bayed later in the day. She arrived the following Thursday and spent her 1st night in her new home still showing bayed .

Did those codes come from the Chevy chat line or from your dealer? Last year and so far this year, my dealer has been able to supply me with up to date info (all though, admittedly I'm only at status 3000 on my current order.). I got acquainted with the QC hold process last year with my 427 convertible.

I can't think of any reason why mine would be held before production. I was told I missed the Z51 constraint by 2 days, and I'm not having a bare carbon fiber roof. I haven't heard of any other constraints.
Laguna Blue 2LT/Z51, chrome wheels, yellow brake calibers & carbon fiber dash trim.
