Saw and drove my first C7 tonight.....you are lucky guys!!!
A lady in our car club picked up her c7 today. I've been following it here on the forum for her(thanks Gmer!!) so to say thanks she threw me the keys with only 40 miles on it.
Great great car. Those of you that own one, you are very lucky indeed.
This car had no orange peel, no panel issues some have mentioned here. Looked perfect from top to bottom.
Thanks to you all for knowledge learned here as she had a few questions I was actually able to answer.
Enjoy your cars and take care of them...might be buying one used down the road....until then, I'll enjoy the '99.

I finally got to sit in one last weekend; the C7 had the base seats - I believe.. There was plenty of room; the dash kinda reminded me of the second gen C4, in how it wraps around the driver somewhat.
The C5 and C6 dash are more flatter (and that is not a negative); to where the C7 tends to flow around the driver. This can give the false assumption that it is tighter in the C7; but the sholder width and footwell volume seemed no more/less than in my C5's.
I sure hope that in late July 2014... I am in this section claiming "I just got my 2015"; that's the plan anyways (fingers crossed)

Well, I would say that my C5 feels like you have more room around you and less between you and your passenger. I also thought the C7 was more difficult to get in and out of......
Otherwise...awesome!!

Can't wait until I get a chance to drive one. Hoping to make a jump to the C7 in a couple of years.
