Which is exactly why the Corvettes and GM in general have a bad rep... and GM promised to fix all these sub-par build quality's with the C7, seems they are still lacking.

VIN 3996. Driven 340 miles home. Handwashed and gone over with a fine tooth comb.
No issues at all. I would use the word PERFECT, if such a word is appropriate for three days.

No never go on a post about 1st year cars. I'm going to enjoy my car and get the hell out of here . Just SICK of this sh-t day after day after day. Unless you own a C7 what the hell can you add to this never ending stupid claim. Gee never buy a new first year car . What great advice from who ? Probably a corvair owner.
Vin #2560 no problems @ all going on 4 weeks. Have only seen one other C7 so far.

Those without problems are too busy enjoying their rides.

I have a buddy with a Boxster and it goes to the shop all the time. His girlfriend sez he is a wimp for owning a kiddy/girly car.
I have bought the first year C4,5,6,and 7. They have all been perfecto.
If there was a problem the dealer would fix it for free. End of story. Move on. No whining.
I'm vin 0329, Nashville vet and this C7 is like a rocket on a rail. As smooth as glass. Paint is like polished marble. My only problem is wondering when the crowds around the car will eventually thin out every time I park it. When you come out of a store and open the door they now want to interview you. I feel like somewhere between a Beatle and a Kardashian.

Heck, I have a 4 year old MINI Cooper S and it was flawless, such as it is, and has not given me a bit of trouble! However, I do agree with those that say essentially "this too shall pass"! I really believe it will!

While it is great that so many have perfect C7's, how does that help someone that was delivered one with obvious defects?
Why release those cars to customers? Is it the normal process to throw it at them and see what sticks?
Obvious paint and body defects should not be delivered hoping they will not be noticed, in my opinion. They are just passing the buck off and wanting to clear the cars out because the process is too inflexible to do otherwise I am guessing.
It may only be 10 cars, but those 10 cars could have been handled properly before the customer sees them. Is that so wrong??

I am amazed at how many different and re-occuring quality control problems there are with the C7. The reason these problems exist is because: 1. it is an entirely new car, inside and out. 2. when each and every car comes off the line it is not test driven and examined by a specialist with a fine tooth comb, and every problem, big and/or small, corrected. 3. there is not a high degree of pride-of workmanship at the factory. (I have toured the factory twice). I have owned 10 Vettes model 1992 to 2010 and have not seen so many issues as there are with the C7. I plan on getting a 2015 C7 convertible after they have been in production for 3 months and the quality issue situation has been resolved. My suggestion is for everyone to take the time to scrutinize every detail of their C7 including a test drive before any paperwork is signed. If you find any problems that are not VERY minor, don't accept the car. Tell your dealer to either fix the problem or to get you another one. And there is no way on the planet I would accept a car that had less than perfect paint. And no touch-ups or re-paints!!! Maybe GM will start to get the message.
I bought the newly designed Porsche Boxster S 13 months ago, which was 3 months after introduction. The car was 100% perfect in every way at delivery. The paint was as good as it gets. The workmanship inside and out was impeccible. I spent much time on 2 Porsche forums and never saw complaints about quality and workmanship such as those on this forum. There is no reason that the folks in BG cannot produce a product that has the same quality as those produced in Stuttgart. I am a bigtime Corvette fan. When my C7 convertible is delivered in a year or so, it damn well better be perfect, because I will not settle for less. Either should you.

The obama generation minions have had subpar drilled into there
heads. So much so they dare not question the gm god and be
thankful they are allowed to buy this product. Even if some
parts come in a box for self install
your right. customers need to start throwing these things back
at gm and say fix it right !!!!!!!!

Porsches are sure fun to drive and a nice status symbol but the concept of that superior German engineering is a myth. Nothing can equal a Japanese vehicle, but every American vehicle I've owned has been more reliable than every German one, without exception. Although the 2012 BMW 328 we have now has been pretty good so far.
Google 2013 Boxster problems . . . . here's a guy who had problems after 58 miles:

There is no perfect car, especially Porsche.
I have a C6 GS I really like and am still warming up to the C7 styling. But I'd take a C7 tomorrow over any Boxster. I wish you more good luck with yours . . . because you might need it.
