Good consistent runs are a great thing. I have a question though, maybe slightly off topic. Is there anyway you can possibly have the 0-60 timer going during your next runs? I know there was a 0-60 thread somewhere that got a lot of flack due to many people not getting the 0-60 GM advertised. I am NOT trying to start a 0-60 argument or anything, was just wondering if you could do that. I'm curious to see what kind of time you get with how well you launch the car. Thanks.

I posted data in that thread and the factory accelerometer was off by at least ~.2.
The issue with using it at the track is that when you pre-stage and then reset the 0-60 timer, just bumping into the staged light triggers it. So you have to fully stage then reset the timer, by which point the tree has already dropped (even a Sportsman tree).

Snorman, nice runs and thanks for the detailed information. Threads like this are helpful for anyone who wants to skip the bull ****. Pretty impressive.

Awesome times.... so.... you're leaving at idle, and leaving

shifter in D. (track mode, obviously) Is this correct?

Have you dyno'd this thing yet?
Nice runs for sure! But is under ideal track condition's Ideal driver!
Look at the 60ft!
Same rwhp as the rest! Likely repeatable with a different C-7 6sd on the same day! Really Nice work though!
You getting runs like this at your local track. NOT!

There is no way the auto is THAT much quicker than manual shifting. Either that guy completely sucked or the track prep was terrible.

I assume the picture is as you were leaving the line - look at the gap above the front tires. It looks like there is enormous weight transfer as the front end comes up. Great runs, great times!

Hate to say this but the fact remains that the guy could have been hesitant or sucked but from my experience having raced both sticks & autos...the auto's generally always hook better, period! You may not like that but it is what it is.

Congrats, curious if you think the MSRC helps with the weight transfer? I know "Fartpipe" yanked the front wheels with his ZR1 on a 1.5x...never heard a serious C6Z make a pass at the strip with it, but I believe it would be possible as well.

Now I'm a believer.

Awesome 60 FT times and 7.30's in the 1/8 is amazing for stock tires and converter.

Nicely done Mr. Snor

I would think a softer setting on the MSRC would be even better. But since I have been running the car in the stiffest setting ("Tr"), I doubt it helps.
