Does anyone know of any vendors making seat covers for the C7 yet?

I am looking to put some neoprene seat Covers on my gray seats to protect them.

Covering makes some quality covers, but last I looked they weren't making any for the '14 Vette yet.

Any leads would be appreciated.

My thoughts exactly, arctic white black interior but wanna do blue neoprene for a while, so far ebay has this cheap betty boop covers that might fit for 25 bucks

I had a friend (passed on, he was in his 90s) who immediately put seat covers on his 50 something Plymouth. He commented, the seats look like new, guess I saved them for a future owner? He did the car is still running, makes the show circuit every summer. I should have used my C6 more. Someone got a great car at my expense ($25,000 in depreciation). I am using the C7, a few blemishes and mileage will not really effect trade-in allowance.

Don't mind some people here that have a strong distaste for anything that protects, I've been using aires seat defenders for my last 3 cars, I don't need to be sitting on leather when I'm running to lowes in ratty jeans....on and off for in 10 secs...

Lots of reasons for temporary protection -- kids, dogs, drinks, beach trips, etc etc etc.

And seat leather gets hot & sweaty & sticky in summer.

Over the years I've tried lots of different seat covers, including the Aires Seat Defenders ('11 Honda CRV) and CoverKing neoprene covers ('09 C6).

Haven't tried 'em on a Corvette. But I expect they'd fit fine -- just like the '07 seats in my '66 Mustang:



BTW, make sure your seat covers do NOT interfere with the side airbags.

IMHO I think the above Seat Keepers are pretty fugly.
I wouldn't leave those on long term basis.

My wife's Mercedes dealer gave her a set of nice $26 each cloth seat covers that we use temporarily for the ride home, after a workout or whenever...

That was I was just thinking. I just try to be a little careful getting in and out, minimizing the bolster wear. A few creases here and there from time in the seat are to be expected.

Bought a set of black Coverking neoprene seat covers for the C6, and Coverking realtree camo for the dually. Absolutely LOVE neoprene seat covers. Not the sexiest covers in the world, but protect the seats from daily abuse, and the camo's are saving the truck from the dogs, plus they are very comfortable. Haven't looked to see if they're out yet for the C7.

I just got the new seat covers. I can't wait to get them installed!

These covers should help keep those seats looking great.

I have read how several owners have already stated that they see loss of leather from the rubbing that occurs when you go in or out of the car. I know this will prevent that from occurring in addition to the wet conditions from beach excursions.

These are the Wet OKOLEE's made in Hawaii. The C7 emblem is a patch I ordered on EBay that will be installed on the cover as well.

Ok folks,

I finally installed the new C7 seat covers.

It took a little time to install since the seats are very close to the floor. I had to lift them as high as possible, use a coat hanger to fish the straps to the front, and move the seat back and forth to reach and snap for each seat top strap. You do need to extend the straps before you proceed so that you have enough to reach the front.

The seat top side straps are a little different where you just pull the straps down on the sides.

The seats fit like a tight glove and are very comfortable to sit on. They look much better in person. Pictures do not give them any justice.

I don't know. Not really feeling the Okolies. Look kind of stuffed.

The stock seats look so good, I can't imagine covering them with anything. When mine start to look shabby, I'll just have them re-upholstered.

Looks like they come in a variety of color so if you wanted to stay with the gray (seat cover) you can.

I have mixed feelings on seat covers. While my conservative side tells me it's wise to protect the original leather and keep it looking new, my other side tells me why have nice seats and not use them. Rather like putting plastic slip covers on your home furniture.

I'll probably opt to use use my car as it is and if the leather wears out, get them replaced. This is not my daily driver so I'm going to bet it will take many years to wear these seats out.

as an aside:
I routinely throw a matching color terry cloth towel on the driver seat of our SUV when I drive. Last SUV, after 6 years of use, the driver seat looks as new as my passenger seat. Easy to do, easy to remove and place. When your sitting in the car, no one sees it, when you exit pull it off or leave it. All the wear seems to occur on the left side seat bolster as this is where you sit to enter and slide in. The towel seems absorb 99% of that wear.

In an effort to protect the center console, I installed two Corvette seat belt cushions I found in Amazon. I attached a Velcro strap under the cushions that fits through the lid opening inside to hold it in place. You cut the strap to fit the opening and length.

Also, you might notice that I also use them on my door handles. Greasy or dirty hands could invade your car at any moment!
