Put my deposit down 1/14, the day after the reveal. Saw Laguna Blue in person at Bloomington Gold and knew it had to have a red gut, white stripe and red hash marks. Took delivery 9/30, the first C7 on Long Island. And now it has to be the first C7 custom painted, with barely 500 miles on the clock!
Would any sane person do this to a brand new car?
For those who don't know what a 1996 Grand Sport is, here was the inspiration ...
And, no, it's not the first time I did this. Here's C5 Grand Sport ...
Now a 500 HP car
Vette Doctors tune and American Racing Headers
Gained 34.5 HP and 41.3 lb ft of torque

Hey if you are having fun then keep on truckin' if it makes
you feel better. But just know sometimes trying to be unique makes you unique in the way a guy in the special Olympics crawls his way to victory. It's fun for him and a win, but to the rest of the world we just feel bad when we see it happening.
