C6 ZR1 or C7 Z06?
I saw my first C7 in the streets and just thought to myself how great it would look with a wide body. Just for fun. No specs have been released for the C7 Z06 but rumors are around 550-575hp SC V-8 and a widebody. Since ZR1's are being pretty heavily discounted both will be around the same price. I know this is the C7 forum but I'm sure you guys got plenty of respect for the ZR1 to give a semi unbiased opinion.

Both top of the food chain! C7 Hi-Po will be a beast but the ZR1 is as well and great deals on them.
C7 Hi-Po should be revealed in Jan.

I am expecting the C7 Z07 to have near 700 hp. Depending on price it might be hard to pass up. I believe the C7 has superior driver assist electronics in the various driving modes. With that said, the C6 ZR1 is an awesome car.

For me, this depends on the price difference. If the C7 Z will start at 85k MSRP, I will buy the C7 Z. If, however, it starts at $100k+ (as I fully expect it too), then I will be more than happy to spend $65k on a low mileage C6 ZR1.
Hopefully, GM has learn something from team Viper and will not price the C7Z out of the market.

I'd like to think the C7 Z06 will be priced similarly to how the C6 Z06 was priced.
2013 base coupe $ 50,575
2013 base Z06 $ 76,575
So a $26k premium
2014 base coupe is $ 51,955
Adding $26k would make it $ 77,955
I bet the base C7 Z06 will come in under $80k...

I hope you're right. I see a starting price of 90k and well above 100k maxed out.

Agreed. I think it would be stupid for GM to start next level C7 at or above $80k. Almost nobody thought the base car would come in at $52k and they were all wrong. I hope they continue to play it smart.

Over the last several months, I have seen some on Autotrader, usedcorvettesforsale.com and various misc sites online.
What do you consider low miles? When I say low miles, I am talking about 10k-15k mile cars.
Additionally, there are many more in the 70k-75k range. If you show up with a bank check for $65k, especially after the C7 Z is introduced, I am sure you will have many motivated sellers out there who would let the car go.
Many MANY deals out there. You just have to be patient and look.
