Default Has Anyone Mated The BringGo Nav. App to Their C7's MyLink?

GM's MyLink website indicates/suggests that by downloading the BringGo app. to one's smart-phone (ie. I Phone or Android operating mobile with at least 2.6 megs),and then "pairing" one's mobile phone to a GM vehicle with MyLink, will allow the vehicle to run navigation, even without said vehicle having been ordered with a Nav. option/up-grade.

Does any member know if this is applicable to the new Corvette C7, with MyLink?

If so, has any member who ordered a new C7 without the Nav. option tried this yet, and if so, what has been your experience with it?

The reviews @ the Google PlayStore app. download site for BringGo do not appear to be very favorable. But, if this truly works, as represented on GM's MyLink website, then why would anyone pay for the Nav. option when ordering a new C7, if you can obtain the same result with the BringGo app. for $49.99??

bring go does not work with anything that chevy offers that has a nav option...They're not stupid, they're not gonna give up the nav profit...it is avail on spark and sonic as they don't sell nav there...it's just business...

Thanks Glen! I kind of thought that was the deal. Otherwise, why would anyone pay the extra $$ for the Nav. up-grade when ordering a new C7.

word has it that they will allow NAV to be retrofitted via software update soon - guess how much it will be?

It has to be....995 installed!!

Otherwise they won't sell another Nav when people order a car - except idiots of course...
