My Dealer is doing a great job of keeping me informed of the status code (currently, as of 11/8, stuck at 3000 since 10/29 ). However he is not able to get a TPW from GM.
It would be nice to get a TPW since the order is R8C and I need to know when to plan travel. I am not bothering Shane and Lori since I know they are swamped with deliveries and don't firm anything up until the order gets past 3100 and has a firm TPW.
A couple of other forum members are in the same predicament and we think the hold at 3000 is due to C2Z or FAY supply problems. Normally I would not be concerned, but travel becomes almost impossible for me after the second week of December.
I suppose if my order does not get built before Thanksgiving I will just plan the Museum trip in January.

Your Stingray is currently at status 3000. TPW's and VIN's are not usually visible until close to production. I cannot give you a guarantee of when your Corvette will be purchased. I am really sorry that it is difficult to plan your trip accordingly.
I also want to let you know that all TPW's are subject to change. They are not set in stone and do regularly change.
I will continue to check on your status if you would like me too.

Your Stingray is at 1100- Preliminary Order Accepted.
I love the color combination! My dad has a '69 427 in that combination and I just love it!

RJQTV2 is my order number. My dealer experience has been a bit disappointing. This is the first time I have ordered a car rather than buying from inventory. I had hoped it would be a memorable experience. My "saleman" is not much on communication. I suspect the first time I get a call from him, it will be to say my car is there.
