Chevrolet Customer Service order tracking thread

KGhia - I just received the same status, 3000 and TPW of 12/22.
I will be doing the NCM Buyers Tour (watch your car get built across two day visit to BG) so I called the NCM folks and learned:
1) the factory is only open Mon and Tue of that week
2) not clear if they will be supporting Buyers Tours or not that week on those two days (they were going to inquire and let me know)
3) it is quite possible for a vehicle to start on either that Mon or Tue but not get finished before the holiday break (ie they simply stop where they are)
4) factory reopens Jan 5 (Mon) picking up wherever they left off on vehicles in production before the break
5) our getting to 3400 and assigned a build date will likely take place sometime within the next week or so
6) everything is of course tentative and subject to change
Hope this helps
I'm also doing Musuem delivery so likely a mid January pick up date
It's really starting to get exciting!!

I received the call today from NCM to confirm the text for the dash plaque so things are starting to move along.

Eeps! Maybe I'm over-reacting but I would think that's a worst-case scenario: to have them leave my car half-built on the assembly line over the holidays and then come back and finish it afterwards, hopefully remembering where they were. Yeah - I know - they do that over weekends, but I still think that's kind of scary. Now I'm actually glad my TPW will be well after the holidays.

any movement on sdnk6s ?, i was at 3000 last week, i know this was a short work week, but i had to ask!
I'm in the same situation (12/22 TPW and doing the buyer's tour). I am still holding out hope that my build gets pulled in to the previous week like has happened for others. I was originally told a TPW of 12/15 last week by Chevy customer service for what it's worth.

I'd certainly like to see my car built. I was thinking of doing it but when I found out I still had to pay the standard delivery fee I passed on doing it. If you see a Laguna Blue Stingray with Red interior, Black rims and Red calipers in might be mine! I was working with a small dealership in Georgia and it took over 2 months to get an allocation to be released for production so we are exited.
I saw a another post being concerned if the car is only partly built before a holiday shutdown. I'd put all those old myths to sleep, controls are so good in manufacturing plants like the Bowling Green facility that shuts downs are seamless. The last I remember the assembly line only runs two shifts each day and it is the paint shop that runs 24 hrs (but you stop and start for every car there). So they are pros at starting and stopping.

I've also been told I have a TPW 12/22 as of Wed. this week. Wondering about the same things you and others are.
Just excited to see my order finally get picked up.
In a way, if it finishes in Jan, it will be a true 2015!

Status codes and TPW
Can you check on SFQFWJ from NH
I see TPW dates given to both status 3000 and 3300? Seems like 3300 is the more likely status to get a TPW. Is there a significance when 3000 gets a TPW?
Thanks
